Beach Picnic and Concert

Sunday, August 6 -- 4:30 p.m.

I hope you'll join us for a beach picnic and concert!  We'll start the picnic at 4:30, doing it potluck style.  If you'll bring some food and beverage items to share, I'm sure we'll have plenty...thanks!  Hermosa is mellow about wine, beer, etc. being consumed at these concerts, so feel free to contribute such if you're so inclined!  I'll bring plates, cups, utensils, napkins and openers.

The concert that evening is Billy Vera and the Beaters, who used to be quite popular (around the time I was in college and Abe Lincoln was freeing the slaves).  But I'm envisioning the music being largely a backdrop to a fun evening hanging out together.

This should be a very kid-friendly afternoon (unless your kids happen to hate Billy Vera!)  Feel free to invite along any friends you'd like to join us.  Bring beach chairs if you want, though I'll have several large drop clothes to sit on, as well.  We'll be south of the Hermosa Pier out toward the ocean side of the beach, down by lifeguard tower #10.  We should be easy to spot.
